Description

In the course of a new construction project at the site of the Kreishandwerkerschaft Steinfurt-Warendorf in Beckum, roof areas are to be sealed in bituminous design in several construction phases. Primarily trapezoidal sheet metal and in some areas reinforced concrete roof surfaces are concerned. The measures extend over four structures in single-storey construction.
1.1 Project description/The Kreishandwerkerschaft Steinfurt-Warendorf intends to modernize (new construction and, in some areas, conversion) the Kreishandwerkerschaft at the location Schlenkhoffs Weg 57 in 59269 Beckum The buildings will be classified in building class 3 "buildings with a height of up to 7 m" according to § 2 (3) BauO NRW Furthermore, they are "buildings of a special type or use" according to § 50 (2) BauO NRW, since it is a training centre for the skilled trades.1.2 Access to building electricity and water is provided by the customer.1.3 The safety and health plan/the safety and health plan indicates the occupational health and safety regulations applicable at the construction site concerned and contains the special measures applicable for particularly dangerous work. If necessary, operational activities on the site shall be taken into account when drawing up the plan.1.4 For the appointment of the safety and health coordinator: The obligations incumbent on the Contractor according to the relevant provisions with regard to compliance with the safety and health measures shall remain unaffected by the involvement of the Safety and Health Coordinator on the part of the Principal in accordance with the regulations of the Employers' Liability Insurance Association BGV. The safety and health coordinator is generally not authorized to give instructions on the construction site. However, in the sense of the objective of the Construction Site Ordinance, i.e. to avoid endangering all persons employed on the construction site or all persons and third parties working for the construction measure, cooperative behaviour of the contractual partners is desired and expected.1.5 The Contractor undertakes to observe the laws, ordinances and the regulations of the Employer's Liability Insurance Association that apply to the regulation of occupational safety on the construction site.1.6 The contractor must submit a risk assessment and its documentation (see Occupational Health and Safety Act or EC Framework Directive 89/391/EEC) before the start of the work.1.7 Contradictions arising from the safety and health protection plan must be reported immediately in writing - informally and in an informal manner - with a description of an equivalent alternative measure that guarantees safety.1.8 The contractor must name a person responsible for occupational safety in his area. This person shall be responsible for compliance with the occupational health and safety regulations by the workers subordinated to him (including the workers of his subcontractors, cf. BGV). He/she shall continue to be available to the coordinator (in accordance with the BaustellV) as a contact person, shall implement the coordinator's requirements for improving the safety and health of employees and shall take part in the safety meetings convened by the coordinator as necessary. A representative is to be appointed if prevented from doing so.1.9 Work of other contractors on the construction site/The presence of several contractors or trades is required for the new building. The use of different parking and storage areas is regulated by the site installation plan. On the construction site, the interaction of the various contractors and the presence of other trades must be taken into account.1.10 Site inspection/a site survey of the site prior to the submission of tenders is urgently recommended in order to obtain detailed information about the local and factual conditions on the construction site, in particular with regard to logistics, pipe stock, construction site equipment and the construction environment and any anticipated difficulties in execution.
