DESCRIPTION:

This Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) involves the provision, on an "as and when" ordered basis of BOXED LUNCHES.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.

Offerors are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject of the solicitation. This service allows offerors to submit bids electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject Request for Standing Offers.

IDENTIFIED USERS:

The Identified Users authorized to make call-ups against the Standing Offer include any government department, agency or Crown Corporation listed in Schedules I, I.1, II, III, of the Financial Administration Act, R.S., 1985, c. F-11 in the province of Quebec.

PERIOD OF STANDING PROPOSAL:

From June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022, divided into two (2) periods of six (6) months each. PWGSC reserves the right de issue up to three (3) RMSO per term and per region should this be more advantageous for Canada.

FOOD QUALITY SPECIFICATIONS:

EPOST CONNECT SERVICE:

This RFSO allows bid submission files electronically using epost Connect. Interested offerors must refer to Part 2 of the solicitation document in order to obtain the instructions on how to submit their bids electronically.

QUANTITIES:

The estimated quantities for the items required can be found in Annex B - Basis of Payment (list of products).

APPROXIMATE SCOPE OF THE STANDING PROPOSAL:

The approximate scope of the Standing Proposal is $2,500,000.00 for the period from June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022 inclusive.

All inquiries and other communication regarding this RFSO are to be directed only to the contracting authority, in writing, whose name is indicated in this RFSP.

PWGSC provides procurement services to the public in both official languages.
