Description

This Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) is an invitation by SaskWater to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with Evaluation of Responses (Part 2) for eligibility to provide Reach 3B Canal Rehabilitation as further described in the RFSQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”).
The project involves the rehabilitation, expansion, and replacement of related structures along the Saskatoon Southeast Non-Potable Water Supply System (SSNPCBD) Reach 3B from the Bradwell Diversion to Highway 763. The scope of the project generally includes the following items:

Canal excavation and embankment construction
Supply and installation of RFP liner and gravel armour
Supply and install various road crossings (RM road, highway, and farm crossings)
Supply and install various structures including cross drains, Type 1 and 2 drain inlets, turnouts, outlets, and check structures.

The canal must be operational between May 1 and September 30 every year. therefore, the construction period is expected to be between September[su5]  and April, inclusive, for work taking place within the canal. Work outside the canal, such as site preparation, etc., may occur when the canal is operational. The intention is for the contract to be completed by  July, 2026.
