PROJECT BACKGROUNDAs part of our Strategic Plan of putting our people and culture first, Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (“MPAC”) is committed to promoting a positive work environment that recognizes the important contributions of our employees and reinforces performance that supports our organizational values, goals, objectives, and priorities.Our current program includes non-monetary recognition for years of service milestones and retirements (digital and framed letters/certificates) and professional achievements. It also includes e-cards for group recognition of retirements and other personal/professional celebrations. We are looking to re-design our current recognition program to support a fully remote/hybrid workforce of approximately 1800 unionized and non-unionized employees in Ontario. Recognized as one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for the fourth consecutive year, we are looking to enhance our current recognition program and total rewards package in order to drive performance, continue to attract and retain key talent, and elevate our employer brand as a Top Employer. PROJECT SCOPEThe Request for Proposal (RFP) is being issued to invite supplier(s) to submit information about your company’s recognition offering, including the services you offer to design, implement, and administer a program, and pricing of your proposed solution.We are seeking an automated solution that would incorporate both monetary and non-monetary recognition, while creating more visibility and awareness of recognition across the organization, and greater connectivity of employees. Our objective is twofold:We will implement a corporate-wide program that would have the capability for recognition and rewards for years of service milestones and retirements.The program will have the capability for a number of levels of recognition, both monetary and non-monetary, that would include peer-to-peer and top-down recognition for above and beyond performance. This second objective will initially be launched as a pilot within a segment of our population. Our goal is to expand across the organization with a phased-in approach and adjust as necessary based on the experience of the pilot group(s).
