Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time as established by the Research Council of Canada.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The purpose of this RFP is to seek proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (DWBI) professional services for the Region’s Public Works Department. This RFP is not directed at one specific project. The Region intends to award a contract to one firm to call upon from time to time, depending on the Region’s needs, for consulting services related to existing on-premises and cloud-based Microsoft DWBI platform, as well as other Microsoft tools, on an as needed basis.                                                  As further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”).MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:It is a mandatory requirement of this RFP that proponents confirm they have the following consultancy experience services.  Proponents must have experience in all of the following, failing which the proposal will be rejected for failure to meet the mandatory requirements of this RFP:(a) Consultancy experience with Azure cloud architecture and setup experience with clients;(b) Consultancy experience with providing Machine learning services experiences in cloud and on premises;(c) Consultancy experience with knowledge of R and Python development and automation;(d) Consultancy experience with Data factory projects;(e) Consultancy experience with SQL server database and warehouse development;(f) Consultancy experience with SSAS and SSIS development; and(g) Consultancy experience architecting & modelling data warehouses.For complete bid details please refer to the RFP documents.QUESTIONS: Questions related to this RFP should be submitted to the Region through the Bidding Website by clicking on the 'Submit a Question' button.Accommodations requests under AODA should be directed to York Region Procurement Office at 1-877-464-9675 EXT 71900 or email purchasing@york.ca
