Canada - Revitalization of J.-A. Perkins, Thibault and Saint-Germain parks in Val-des-Monts

IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE UNDERSIGNED, THAT :
The Municipality of Val-des-Monts, in accordance with its by-law concerning contractual management and budgetary control and monitoring rules - Delegation to certain officials - Power to authorize expenditures, award contracts and hire personnel, requests tenders for the following supplies, namely:
"TENDER NO 24-04-16-029 - REVITALIZATION OF J.-A. PERKINS, THIBAULT AND SAINT-GERMAIN PARKS IN VAL-DES-MONTS"
For these supplies, the relevant documents will be available as of Monday, April 29, 2024, as follows:
The Municipality of Val-des-Monts is proceeding with the sale of its documents for this call for tenders exclusively on the electronic tendering system (SEAO). Persons and companies interested in the contracts may obtain the tender documents from the Service électronique d'appel d'offres (SEAO) by contacting one of its representatives by telephone at 1 866 669-SEAO or 514 856-6600, or by consulting the Internet site: www.seao.ca. Documents may be obtained at the cost established by SEAO.
Tenders will be received by the Municipality of Val-des-Monts until 10 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024, in a sealed envelope, at its office located at 1, route du Carrefour, Val-des-Monts (Québec) J8N 4E9, and will be opened at approximately 10:05 a.m. on the same day.
The Municipality of Val-des-Monts does not undertake to accept any of the bids received.

Tender guarantee
Amount
The TENDERER shall, in order to protect the CONTRACTOR against possible losses resulting from its refusal to enter into or perform the Contract in accordance with its Tender, provide a bid security in the lump sum amount of FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($50,000.00).
Deposit
The TENDERER must attach to its Tender the original of the tender guarantee issued in the form of a bond issued by a Financial Institution and established without reservation in favor of the PRINCIPAL, in accordance with the model reproduced in Appendix 4.01 A of the Tender Form.
Other requirements
The bid bond must also meet the following requirements:

the Bid Security must be valid for the entire validity period of the Tender, as indicated in the "Validity Period" clause herein;


any restriction in the Tender Guarantee limiting the TENDERER'S liability to the amount of the Tender Guarantee shall have no effect vis-à-vis the PRINCIPAL and shall be deemed unwritten.
