2.1 PURPOSE OF CALL FOR TENDERS
2.1.1 Presentation of the organization
The Office d'Habitation Nicolet-Yamaska is a non-profit public organization. The main mission
is to administer and develop housing for low-income individuals and families.

private rent supplement programs, and may also develop and administer buildings under other

2.1.2 Nature of work, building address
The project involves the general exterior refurbishment of two apartment buildings
located respectively at 305 and 325, rue Léocadie-Bourgeois,
Nicolet, QC J3T 1H3, as well as the complete rehabilitation of the shared vehicular parking lot.
The majority of units affected by the work will be occupied during the construction period. The
work may begin on June 3, 2024, and must be completed by September 27, 2024,
with no interruptions except for the annual construction vacation.
2.1.3 Agreements in force for a public call for tenders
This contract is subject to the following public procurement liberalization agreements:
- Canadian Free Trade Agreement;
- Québec-Ontario Trade and Cooperation Agreement;
- Accord de libéralisation des marchés publics du Québec et du Nouveau-Brunswick
(2008); Intergovernmental Agreement on Government Procurement between the Québec
Government of New York State.
