Description
REQUIREMENT:
The Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Saskatoon Research and Development Centre requires the rental of one (1) Automated DNA Extraction Machine from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2022 to process biological collection samples.
Bidders shall provide an Automated DNA Extraction Machine that can take desiccated/ground tissue from a lysate to a cleaned DNA in elution, using a magnetic particle extraction protocol. The Bidder will be required to provide the equipment for the rental period, cover any maintenance and repairs to the equipment for the two years, cover all costs associated with packaging, delivery and installation of the equipment and provide the de-installation/removal of the equipment from site upon expiration.
The requirements are detailed in Appendix B herein. AAFC anticipates awarding a service contract for two years. The Automated DNA Extraction Machine must be delivered, installed and fully operational for AAFC’s use by April 1, 2020.
