The Centre de services scolaires de la Seigneurie-des-Mille-Îles, the owner, is asking for tenders for the replacement of the flat roof covering and the exterior envelope at Alpha school.

AVAILABLE DOCUMENTATION :

Interested contractors are invited to order tender documents directly and exclusively from the SEAO Electronic Tendering System website at www.seao.ca or by contacting SEAO's customer service department at 514-856-6600 or 1-866-669-7326.

The bidder, general contractor or subcontractor, is responsible for ensuring that the tender document is complete and corresponds to all the information available on SEAO for this call for tenders, i.e. the plans, specifications and other tender documents.
In order to respect the physical distance instructions issued by the government, the opening will not be held in the presence of the public, however a video capture of the opening with witness will be posted as an addendum on SEAO. RECEPTION AND OPENING :

Tenders, in sealed envelopes identified as part of the project, will be received at the Centre de services scolaires de la Seigneurie-des-Mille-Îles at 430 Arthur-Sauvé Boulevard, 5th floor, Suite 5070, Saint-Eustache, Quebec, J7R 6V6 until 2:00 p.m., local time, on March 8, 2021, to be opened publicly at the same place, on the same day and at the same time. Any submission received after that date will be automatically rejected.
Bids submitted electronically are permitted under this call for tenders.
Bids submitted electronically must be received through the SEAO at www.seao.ca by the closing date and time indicated in the tender documents.

Go to the main entrance of the establishment. All bidders, contractors and subcontractors will be considered to have visited the premises and no claims for lack of information or knowledge of the premises can be submitted or accepted.
BID GUARANTEE :
All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security representing 10% of the total amount of the tender excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a certified cheque, bank draft, irrevocable letter of guarantee or tender bond, valid for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days following the date of opening of tenders, issued by a financial institution which is an insurer holding a permit issued in accordance with the Insurance Act (R.S.Q.), c. A-32) authorizing it to practice surety insurance, a trust company holding a permit issued under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (R.S.Q., c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative covered by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (R.S.Q., c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (S.C., 1991, c. 46), failing which the tender will be automatically rejected.

Certified cheque and bank draft will only be permitted for paper submissions.

an establishment in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by that agreement, in particular:


CEPA (Threshold $264,200)
CAWQA (Threshold $105,700)
NBQA ($100,000 threshold)
the licence required under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c.B.-1.1);
a certificate issued by the Ministère du Revenu du Québec if he or she has an establishment in Québec, or the duly completed "No establishment in Québec" form, as the case may be.
Unsatisfactory performance evaluation: The Owner reserves the right to refuse any bidder who, during the two (2) years preceding the bid opening date, has been subject to an unsatisfactory performance evaluation by the Owner, has failed to respond to a bid or contract or has been subject to a contract termination due to its failure to comply with the conditions thereof.

Bidding Contractors are responsible for the selection of subcontractors, both for their creditworthiness and for the content of their bids.

RESERVE :
