Description
The aim of this project is to renew and upgrade security equipment essential to the protection of our entire university community, and to ensure compliance with current standards. In particular, it aims to modernize surveillance and access control systems in order to maintain a secure, responsive environment in line with the institution's growing needs. Replacing ageing equipment will also reduce long-term maintenance costs and improve the operational performance of the Prevention and Protection Department. L'ORGANISME PUBLIC wants to modernize and upgrade the security components currently in place (cameras, controllers, readers, etc.) on all its existing and future campuses, over a period of 3 years and one option year. As the useful life of these systems is approximately 5 years, and not counting the constantly improving technology, the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION wishes to standardize and improve its surveillance and control systems for security on its premises. It currently uses GENETEC's Security Center system and its various modules, notably for video surveillance and access management. It is essential that the proposed equipment is fully compatible with the current system.
