Filing and obtaining documents
Plans, specifications and contract documents will be available only from S.E.A.O. ( www.seao.ca ) as of March 22, 2024.
Tender guarantee
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security representing 10% of the total amount of the bid, excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a certified cheque valid for forty-five (45) days, an irrevocable letter of guarantee or a bid bond issued by a financial institution that is an insurer holding a licence issued in accordance with the Insurance Act (R.S.Q., c. A-32) authorizing it to practice surety insurance, a trust company licensed under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (R.S.Q., c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative governed by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (R.S.Q., c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act
(L.C., 1991, c. 46), failing which the bid will be automatically rejected.
Site visit
A non-obligatory site visit (there will be no other possibility of visit) will be held on April 3, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the École Polyvalente de Thetford-Mines at 561, rue St-Patrick, Thetford-Mines, (Québec), G6G 5W1 in the presence of the engineering firm and a representative of the owner.
Work schedule
Work must be completed between June 25, 2024 and August 28, 2024.
Submission and opening of bids
Tenders in sealed envelopes addressed to Mr. André Dallaire, Director of Material Resources, Centre de services scolaires des Appalaches, will be received at 650, rue Lapierre, Thetford Mines, (Québec) G6G 7P1 until 11:00 a.m., local time, on April 25, 2024, to be publicly opened at the Material Resources office (exterior door 26) located at 650, rue Lapierre in Thetford Mines, on the same day at the same time.
If you are not submitting a bid, please complete Appendix 5: Non-participation questionnaire and return it to us by e-mail at achat_csa@csappalaches.qc.ca.
Bidders
Only contractors holding, where applicable, the license required under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B-1.1) will be considered for the contract. Tenderers are responsible for the selection of subcontractors, both in terms of their solvency and the content of their tender.
The owner does not undertake to accept any of the bids received.
