Description
Fraport AG intends to modernize the control systems for several baggage handling systems, replacing the current Schneider Electric Modicon Premium control system.
This affects around 75 systems located in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Frankfurt Airport.
The replacement of the Premium control systems is divided into three implementation phases, which are based on the age and complexity of the system:
a. Light replacement of premium control systems for Pier A-Plus,
b. Light replacement of premium controls for multi-stage baggage screening systems (MRKA) and modernization of the MRKA control lines.
c. Light replacement of premium control systems for remaining systems,
The subject of the contract is specialist planning services for technical equipment for heavy current and conveyor systems (system groups 4 and 6 in accordance with Section 53 (2) HOAI)
Start of services (start of planning): approx. 3rd quarter 2024
End of services (end of project supervision): approx. 2nd quarter 2030
