NOTICE OF TENDER FOR INVITATION TO TENDER
Construction work
The Office municipal d'habitation de Shawinigan, also known as the "maître d'ouvrage", invites tenders for the replacement of existing windows on the building (Le Petit Bonheur) located at 901, 16 th Avenue, in the municipality of Shawinigan (Grand-Mère sector), under a contract.
The duration of the work will be approximately four (4) weeks.
CONDITION: Only general or specialized contractors in this type of work who have an establishment in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by this agreement and who hold the required licence under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B-1.1) are authorized to bid.

INFORMATION: General contractors and subcontractors will obtain all information from: Mr. Yves Tellier, Senior Building Technician, at the following telephone number: 819-378-5438.

SUBMISSION GUARANTEE: In the form of one bond per authorized company, equivalent to :

10% of the bid amount or
a certified cheque, money order, bank draft payable to the applicant for the work (OMH of Shawinigan), an irrevocable letter of guarantee for the benefit of the applicant or bonds payable to the bearer. These must be issued or guaranteed by the Government of Quebec or Canada and the term must not exceed five years. The value of these bonds must be equal to 5% of the bid amount and be valid for 60 days from the bidding deadline. The security must be attached to the bid.


SITE VISIT: The contractor must visit the site of the work at his own expense in order to personally determine its extent.

CLOSING OF THE SUBMISSION PERIOD: Bids must be submitted no later than 10:30 a.m. local time on July 4, 2019 at the location where the public bid opening meeting will be held, i.e. at the office of the Office municipal d'habitation de Trois-Rivières at 660, Hertel, Trois-Rivières (Québec) G9A 1G8.
ENTREPRENEUR'S OBLIGATIONS: Tendering contractors are responsible for the selection of subcontractors, with respect to their competence, solvency and the content of their bid. They must inform them of the conditions of the bid and ensure that they hold the required permits and licences.


The Office municipal d'habitation de Shawinigan is not required to accept either the lowest or any of the bids received.
