Bid Guarantee
All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security representing 10% of the total amount of the tender excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a certified cheque valid for forty-five (45) days, an irrevocable letter of guarantee or a tender bond issued by a financial institution which is an insurer holding a permit issued in accordance with the Insurance Act (R.S.Q.), c. A-32), authorizing it to practice surety insurance, a trust company holding a permit issued under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (R.S.Q., c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative contemplated by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (R.S.Q., c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act
(S.C., 1991, c. 46), failing which the bid will be automatically rejected.
Site visit
A non-mandatory site visit (there will be no other opportunity to visit) will be held on January 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Polyvalente de Disraeli at 950 St-Gérard Street, Disraeli, Quebec G0N 1E0 in the presence of the architectural and engineering firm and a representative of the owner.
Work Completion Period
The work must be carried out between June 25, 2021 and August 26, 2021.
Bid submission and opening
Tenders in sealed envelopes addressed to Mr. André Dallaire, Director, Computer and Material Resources Service, Centre de services scolaires des Appalaches, will be received at 650 Lapierre Street, Thetford Mines, (Québec) G6G 7P1 until 11:00 a.m., local time, on February 18, 2021, to be opened publicly at the Material Resources Office (exterior door 26) located at 650 Lapierre Street in Thetford Mines, on the same day at the same time.
If you are not submitting a bid, please complete Appendix 5: Non-Participation Questionnaire and return it to us by email at achat_csa@csappalaches.qc.ca.
Bidders
Only contractors holding, where applicable, the required licence under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B-1.1) will be considered for the purposes of awarding the contract. Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender.
The owner does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received .

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are adding the following item to the slip: "Additional costs related to COVID-19".

It is understood that these costs correspond to the situation in force on 15 January 2021, the main points of which are as follows:
- Minimum physical distance of 2 meters;
- Frequent hand washing;
- Personal protective equipment adapted to the risks.

It is the contractor's responsibility to comply with the requirements of CNESST.

It is also understood that the actual amount paid will be adjusted up or down depending on the health conditions prevailing at the time the work is carried out.
