The CÉGEP du Vieux Montréal, Owner, is requesting tenders for the work on the project to caulk the windows of the emergency shafts and other targeted areas in Building A, located at 255 Ontario Street East, in Montréal. This project will involve the removal of the old caulking, cleaning and application of the new caulking.
The work schedule will run from Monday, May 3 to Friday, June 18, 2021.
Tender documents can only be obtained through the electronic tendering system.
Before submitting his Tender, the SUBMISSIONER must visit the places where the Contract is to be performed. Only SUBMISSIONERS who have carried out this visit are eligible to submit a Tender.
Non-mandatory visits can take place by appointment. For this purpose and in order to respect the rules of social distancing, the SUBMISSIONER must make an appointment no later than February 26, 2021 by writing to approvisionnement@cvm.qc.ca.
In order to be valid and considered, Submissions must be addressed to Geneviève Fortin and received no later than the deadline:

Tenders may be submitted electronically and may be transmitted only through the electronic tendering system.
If a SUBMISSIONER wishes to ask a question or seek clarification on any aspect of the Invitation for Bids or the Bidding Documents, the SUBMISSIONER must forward, in writing to approvisionnement@cvm.qc.ca any questions or requests for clarification relating to the Bidding Documents to the file manager identified at the beginning hereof. The PUBLIC ORGANIZATION reserves the right not to consider a request for clarification made by a SUBMISSIONER if this request is sent to it less than THREE (3) working days before the deadline set for receipt of Bids.
For the purposes of a contractor's eligibility to submit a tender, only the tender of a contractor having a place of business where it operates permanently in Quebec, clearly identified in its name and accessible during normal business hours or, where an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by that agreement, and holding, where applicable, the licence required under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B.-1.1), will be considered for submission of a tender.
Bidding contractors are responsible for the selection of subcontractors, both for their solvency, the compliance of their licences and the content of their bids.
All tenders shall be submitted in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation respecting construction contracts for public bodies (R.S.Q., c. C-65.1, r.3) adopted pursuant to the Act respecting contracts for public bodies (R.S.Q., c. C-65.1).
The Owner does not undertake to accept any of the bids received, in particular when it deems that the prices are too high or disproportionate or do not reflect a fair price.
