Description
Subject of tender:
The work covered by this contract includes, but is not limited to:
Maintaining traffic flow and signage during the work.
Removal and disposal of existing roadway elements (paving, curbs, sidewalks, granular base, streetlight bases and electrical conduits).
Removal or decommissioning of existing sewer systems (storm and sanitary).
Supply and installation of sewer systems (storm and sanitary).
Construction of the roadway, including earthworks, soil management, pavement foundation, asphalt surfacing, bicycle path, curbs, sidewalks and pavement markings.
Supply and installation of signage elements.
Supply and installation of lamp post bases and electrical conduits.
Installation of lampposts.
Grass sodding.
All other work/components described in the tender documents, or required to complete the tender documents.
Summary description of options :
No options are included in the contract.
Contract duration :
5 months
Bid Security:
A bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount.
Performance bond :
A performance bond and a contractor's obligation bond for pledges, materials and services equivalent to fifty percent (50%) of the contract amount each.
Availability of tender documents :
Tender documents are available from the SEAO electronic tendering system.
Submission of bids:
Only bids received by the time and date set for receipt of bids will be considered. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that documents are forwarded in accordance with the terms and conditions of the tender documents.
Bid opening
Unless otherwise specified, bid opening is Thursday, March 28, 2024, 11:00 a.m. . Please refer to section 1.07 of the Régie document.
Site visit
A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Please refer to section 1.02 of the Régie document.

The Université de Sherbrooke reserves the right, at the time of bid analysis, to refuse all bids submitted, even the lowest.
