THE CENTRE DE SERVICES SCOLAIRE DES BOIS-FRANCS is seeking the services of a contractor to replace the stoop at the main entrance to the high school, as well as various pedestrian surfaces on the school grounds. The project also includes the complete replacement of the railings, in conjunction with the replacement of the concrete surfaces.

Interested parties should obtain tender documents via the SÉAO electronic tendering system ( www.seao.ca or for the Montreal region at 514 856-6600 or toll-free outside at 1 866 669-7326). A site visit will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 4 p.m. at the main doors of 605, rue Notre-Dame Est, Victoriaville.

Tenders in sealed envelopes addressed to the undersigned will be received at the Centre de services scolaire des Bois-Francs, 40, boul. des Bois-Francs Nord, Victoriaville (Québec) G6P 1E5, door # 2, until 1:30 p.m., local time, on the 9th day of May 2024 to be publicly opened at the same place on the same day and at the same time.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security representing 10% of the total amount of the bid, issued to the order of Centre de services scolaires des Bois-Francs and valid for a period of 45 days, excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a certified cheque, irrevocable letter of guarantee or bid bond issued by a financial institution, failing which the bid will be automatically rejected. This bid bond must be exchanged at the signing of the contract for a performance bond and a bond for pledges, materials and services.

Only contractors holding, where applicable, the license required under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B-1.1) will be considered for award of the contract. Tenderers are responsible for selecting subcontractors, both in terms of their solvency and the content of their tender. A contractor holding a restricted license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec is not eligible to submit a bid; this ineligibility also applies to the bidder's subcontractors.
