REHABILITATION OF THE WATER PIPE ON THE
LE CHEMIN DU BORD-DE-L'EAU À SAINT-SULPICE

BID SOLICITATION

The "Municipality of Saint-Sulpice" is requesting tenders for the repair of the water main on chemin du Bord-de-l'eau over a distance of approximately 1,400 linear metres.

Only contractors having an establishment in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in a province covered by that agreement and holding, where applicable, an appropriate construction contractor's licence issued by the Régie des entreprises de construction du Québec, are authorized to tender.

The tender documents will be available through the electronic tendering service at the following address: www.seao.ca, for contractors registered with this service. To subscribe or for any other questions, contractors may contact OACC by telephone at 1 866 669-7326 or 514 856-6600.

For any information, the bidder must contact, in writing only, Mr. David Perrault, engineer, by e-mail at the following address: dperrault@gbi.ca . All questions or written requests must be sent no later than January 19, 2021, before 3:00 p.m. in order to allow the person in charge to respond to all requests by addendum before the opening of tenders. Any request received after this deadline will not be considered.

REQUIREMENTS

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond issued in favour of the "Municipality of Saint-Sulpice" in the amount equivalent to ten percent 10 % of the total bid.

Only a bid bond established by an insurer holding an insurer's permit issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers and authorizing it to carry on the guarantee activity within the meaning of the Act respecting insurance and conforming to standard form NQ 1809-900/A will be accepted under the terms of the call for tenders documents.

This bond must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the bid opening date.

In addition, this surety bond shall be accompanied by a letter of undertaking, in accordance with form NQ 1809-900/D, issued in favour of the "Municipality of Saint-Sulpice" and guaranteeing the provision of a performance bond and a Contractor's obligation bond for labour, materials and subcontracts, each for a value of one hundred percent 100% of the contract.

The submission must also be accompanied by all other documents mentioned in the list of documents to be submitted with the submission.

RECEIPT DATE

Submissions, in sealed envelopes marked "SUBMISSION - Aqueduct Rehabilitation on chemin du Bord-de-l'eau" addressed to Mrs. Chantal Bédard, Director General and Secretary-Treasurer at 1089 Notre-Dame Street, in Saint-Sulpice, Quebec, J5W 1G1, will be received no later than Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. to be opened at the same date and time in the presence of interested parties:

The "Municipality of Saint-Sulpice", reserves the right, at its sole and entire discretion, to disregard a minor informality if it deems that it is in the interest of the municipality to do so, and this, which the tenderer accepts and assumes.

Furthermore, the "Municipality of Saint-Sulpice" does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received, nor to incur any costs whatsoever, nor to incur any obligation of any kind towards the tenderer(s).
