Canada - Rehabilitation of chemin de Sainte-Lucie, rue J-R Chénier, avenue E-Pilon and rue O-Beauchamps

Description

The Municipality of Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides is requesting bids for the rehabilitation of chemin de Sainte-Lucie (± 200 m), rue J-R Chénier (± 400 m), avenue E-Pilon (± 200 m) and rue O-Beauchamp (± 200 m). The work will involve replacing the aqueduct and sanitary sewer. The roadway will also be rebuilt.
In addition to the direct work, the Contractor will be responsible for maintaining traffic flow. This description is a brief summary of the proposed work. It is the bidder's responsibility to document the work before submitting a bid.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in the form described in the tender documents and valid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days from the bid opening date. The bond must be for an amount equivalent to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount including taxes.
The bid bond must contain an undertaking by the surety to issue a performance bond
and a guarantee of the contractor's obligations for wages, materials and services, each equivalent to fifty percent (50%) of the total amount of the bid including taxes.
And the company must comply with the following restrictions and conditions:
 The Company must hold a license issued by the R.B.Q. that is "without indication of restriction
restriction within the meaning of the Building Act for the purposes of obtaining a public contract".
 The bidder must not be registered with the RENA and, if registered, its period of ineligibility for
for public contracts.
Bids, in sealed envelopes marked "Réfection du chemin Sainte-Lucie, rue JR-Chénier, avenue E-Pilon et de la rue O-Beauchamps", will be received until 1:30 p.m. on March 28, 2024. They should be addressed to Sylvie Dupuis, Acting Director General and Clerk-Treasurer of the Municipality of Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides, at 2121, chemin des Hauteurs, Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides(Québec), J0T 2J0.
The Municipality of Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids
without incurring any obligation towards the bidder(s).
