The Commission scolaire de la Beauce-Etchemin wishes to obtain bids in a sealed envelope to retain the services of a contractor for the work mentioned in the above project.
AVAILABLE DOCUMENTATION
As of September 30, 2019, any person or company may obtain the call for tenders, plans and specifications and other documents relevant to the project at the following website: http://www.seao.ca, notice no. 1306666.
The work will be carried out during the period from November 2019 to July 2020.
WARRANTY
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security representing 10% of the total amount of the bid excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a certified cheque, irrevocable letter of guarantee or bid bond issued by a financial institution that is an insurer holding a licence issued in accordance with the Insurance Act (R.S.Q.), c. A-32) authorizing it to carry on surety insurance, a trust company holding a licence issued under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (R.S.Q., c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative governed by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (R.S.Q., c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (S.C., 1991, c. 46), failing which the tender will be automatically rejected.
Reception and opening
All bids must be received at the Material Resources Department, École Aubert-Gallion, 2505, 10 th Avenue, Saint-Georges, Québec G5Y 5E7, on October 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., to be publicly opened at the same location on the same day and at the same time. Any bid received subsequently will be automatically rejected and returned to the bidder unopened.
Intergovernmental Agreement This public call for tenders is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA), the Agreement on Trade and Cooperation between Quebec and Ontario (ACCQO), the Quebec and New Brunswick Agreement on the Liberalization of Government Procurement 2008 (NBQA)
When competition is insufficient, the Commission scolaire de la Beauce-Etchemin may make eligible any service provider who has an establishment in a territory not covered by an applicable intergovernmental agreement.
VISIT of the bidders
The visit will be held on October 7, 2019 at 9:00 a.m., starting at Aubert Gallion School, in the presence of professionals and the representative of the C.S.B.E.

Only contractors holding, where applicable, the licence required under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B-1.1) will be considered for the purposes of granting the contract. Tendering contractors are responsible for the selection of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their bid.
The school board does not undertake to accept any of the bids received.
