Description
The Federal Office for Mobility and Logistics and the highway authorities have decided to set up
weight checkpoints (GKS) on the BAB network. As this is a combination of technology that has not yet been implemented in this way, a pilot site (Rurscholle -Süd parking lot) km 29+500 on the A4 between Aachen and Cologne is to be built first. The construction contract envisaged here includes the road construction work.
