The Centre de services scolaires de la Beauce-Etchemin wishes to obtain bids in sealed envelopes to retain the services of a contractor for the work mentioned in the above project.

AVAILABLE LITERATURE
As of January 12, 2021, the tender documents will be available to any person or company on the SEAO website, notice no. 1417971.
The work will be carried out during the period from July 5, 2021 to August 20, 2021.

RECEPTION
All submissions must be received at the Centre de services scolaires de la Beauce-Etchemin (CSSBE) at the following address
2505 10th Avenue, Saint-Georges, Quebec G5Y 5E7 until 11:00 a.m., local time, on February 9, 2021. Any bid received after this time will be automatically rejected and will be returned to the bidder unopened.

TENDER GUARANTEE
All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security representing 10% of the total amount of the tender excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a certified cheque, an irrevocable letter of guarantee or a tender bond issued by a financial institution which is an insurer holding a permit issued in accordance with the Insurance Act (R.S.Q.), c. A-32) authorizing it to practice surety insurance, a trust company holding a permit issued under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (R.S.Q., c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative covered by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (R.S.Q., c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (S.C., 1991, c. 46), failing which the tender will be automatically rejected.

INTER-GOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
This call for public tenders is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the Agreement on Trade and Cooperation between Quebec and Ontario (ATCQO), the Agreement on Liberalization of Government Procurement in Quebec and New Brunswick 2008 (AQNB). Where there is insufficient competition, the CSSBE may make eligible any service provider that has an establishment in a jurisdiction not covered by an applicable intergovernmental agreement.

BIDDERS VISIT
Because of the sanitary measures put in place to fight against the spread of Covid-19, bidders must confirm their presence to Mr. Jean-François Poirier, ing (Jean-Francois.Poirier@stantec.com), two (2) days prior to the visit that will be held on January 19, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. at the Pozer Professional Training Centre, in the presence of Mr. Marc Lamonde and Mr. Jean-François Poirier. In the event of a large number of visitors, it is possible that more than one visit will take place.

OTHER
Only contractors holding, where applicable, the required licence under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B-1.1) will be considered for the purposes of awarding the contract. Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender.
The CSSBE does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received, particularly when it deems that the prices are too high or disproportionate or do not reflect a fair price.
