RC252470009 Danger Tree Assessments and Danger Tree Falling on various Recreation Sites within the Peace Recreation District Summary DetailsThe Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, Recreation Sites and Trails BC is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for danger tree assessments and danger tree falling on various recreation sites within the Peace Forest District (Contract RC252470009) for the period of April 20th, 2024, to June 30th, 2024. This contract will be eligible for a possible two (2) additional terms of renewal upon successful and satisfactory completion of the first year. We will accept BC Bid submissions, email submissions or sealed hard copy submissions until April 15th, 2024, at 11:59pm. RFPs will be opened in private at 9000 17th Street in Dawson Creek, BC on April 16th, 2024. The bids will be publicly posted on BC Bid once the successful bidder is confirmed.The operating area of this contract is in the Peace District. A total of 15 recreation sites will be assessed, please reference Appendix 1, Location Maps of this contract (RC252470009). The 15 sites have previously had routine Danger Tree Assessments and Danger Tree Falling completed the last few years. The sites are two-wheel drive accessible. Camping is available at the recreation sites if the contractor chooses to do so as a means of overnight accommodation to help complete the services associated with this contract.The contract will involve Danger Tree Assessments and Danger Tree Falling, including bucking, and lopping, on the Recreation Sites identified in the Schedule A – Services of this contract (RC252470009).
