Description
The building at Zehntstr. 24 in 38640 Goslar is to be completely renovated and used as an extension with additional classrooms and course rooms for the Ratsgymnasium Goslar. It is a listed building, built in 1902/03 and extensively renovated in 1995, in the neo-Romanesque style, which has historically been used as a storage building, a refugee office and most recently as a municipal archive. The core refurbishment included extensive fire protection refurbishment of the existing wooden beam ceilings, the installation of new brickwork and dry walls as well as equipping the building with a ventilation system and positive pressure ventilation for the stairwell.
