Canada - Ramp and roof repairs

Description

1. Purpose of the contract
1.1 The OMHM is proceeding with a public call for tenders to repair the access ramp and roof at Monkland housing at 5959 Monkland Avenue in Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.
1.2 The project consists of performing all work in accordance with the contract documents. Without limitation, the scope of work includes:
1.2.1 Selective demolition of existing roof elements identified in architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical documents;
1.2.2 New roof waterproofing;
1.2.3 New access ladder to lean-to roof;
1.2.4 Development of part of the lot, including structural, civil, landscaping and electrical work for :
* Installation of an access ramp and new staircase;
* The installation of a visual screen opposite the balcony of a ground-floor dwelling.
1.2.5 Replacement of curtain walls and glass partitions at the entrance to the building;
1.2.6 Ceiling work in the vestibule and soffits at the entrance;
1.2.7 The execution of all works related to the construction and installation of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and civil elements, as identified in the various discipline documents.
1.3 The work will be carried out in an 8-storey building, for 78 housing units for the elderly.
1.4 During the works, the dwelling(s) will be occupied.
2. Duration of work
2.1 According to current planning, work is scheduled to start as soon as the letter of commitment is signed, but this date may be modified by OMHM. In such a case, the modification cannot be used to justify a request for extra on the part of the successful bidder.
2.2 The work must be carried out within a maximum of 250 working days from the date confirmed for the start of work in the letter of commitment.

3. Site visit
A site visit will take place on April 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. at 5959 Monkland Ave.
