Description
The works included in the project consist of the signalling, energy and communications installations on the 770 Santander-Oviedo line between Infiesto-Cabezón de la Sal (not including the station, only up to advanced signals), approximately 122 km long in total. The main actions to be carried out are:- replacement of the current electrical and mechanical interlockings at some stations with new electronic interlockings. In these interlockings, all the field wiring between the technical room and the signalling field equipment will be renewed, - installation of new LED type signals in all locations with their respective digital ASFA beacons. The current lamp signals installed on the track and their current conventional ASFA beacons will have to be dismantled,- installation of new train detection equipment, in this case axle counters. Dismantling of all current train detection systems, ETC.
The geographical scope of the project is the signalling, energy and communications installations of the 770 Santander-Oviedo line between Infiesto and Cabezón de la Sal (not including the station), approximately 122 km long in total, a single track metric gauge line equipped with lateral signalling and conventional ASFA. The line is electrified with 1 500 V direct current catenary between Ribadesella and Infiesto. The rest of the line is not electrified.
