Description

A mobile 5G campus network is required for the "DigiMix-PA" project, as part of the guideline on funding the establishment of experimental fields as farms of the future and regions of the future for digitization in agriculture. This 5G campus network is to be operated on agricultural land in Brandenburg for at least the project duration of three years. The operation serves to research the technical possibilities of this new technology in agricultural regions for use in agricultural technology. For this purpose, it is imperative that the mobile system has an open core so that any conceivable technology can be connected and adjustments can be made at any time. Mobility must be ensured by an included trailer design. Operation for three years including power and support 24/7 must be guaranteed by the vendor. In addition, the provider must relocate up to 10 times per year in Brandenburg. The system must have three radio masts that can operate at a distance of up to 500 meters from the base station, spanning a 500 m x 500 m workspace. The system must have a field-ready base station with space, in addition to the 5G technology, for additional workstations for data processing. References for at least two already implemented campus networks with the own core must be proven with the offer.All components are to be delivered as a complete system in the form of a fully functioning transportable 5G network. The term of operation shall begin upon delivery of the system and shall total 36 months.
