Description

Two studios of Südwestrundfunk in Stuttgart and Mainz are to be adapted to each other within the scope of the cross-media offer of SWR AKTUELL in order to generate a uniform on-air look. The aim is to align the studios (virtual set) in order to standardise the production environments. For this purpose, the studio in Stuttgart has to be technically upgraded with a camera rail system. Furthermore, the lighting technology at the Stuttgart location has to be renewed. This service content can be summarized as follows, separated into the respective lots:- Lot 1 - Delivery, installation, commissioning of a rail system,- Lot 2 - Delivery of lighting technology such as spotlights and light control desks.
The services to be rendered mainly relate to the delivery and implementation of a camera rail system at the Stuttgart location. The camera rail system is to be installed in Studio C. Furthermore, individual additional components are required for the infrastructure of the studio in Stuttgart. These components are a pure delivery service. They are listed in the procedure and contract documents, performance specification lot 1, chapter 3.6.Specifically, the client has defined the following services:- Planning, delivery, installation of the camera rail system for Studio C, Stuttgart,- Detailed planning of the implementation,- Implementation of the camera rail system in the studio environment of Studio C, Stuttgart,- The camera rail system must consist of a curved rail track and 3 dollies with lift and pan-tilt head that can be moved on it,- Supervision of the acceptance of the integrated and functional camera rail system, carried out by the client or a third party commissioned by the client,- In addition, the client plans to request (partly optional) training and service/maintenance services and to procure them if necessary.Only new equipment with manufacturer's warranty may be offered within the scope of this award procedure.The underlying schedule for the provision of services is listed in section 3.1.2 of the specifications (Lot 1). The services to be provided mainly relate to the supply of studio spotlights including accessories and the supply of lighting control systems.The contractor is responsible for all services such as preliminary testing, safe transport, punctual delivery of functional components.Due to the quantity of equipment supplied, it is not possible to temporarily store the equipment at the sites. Interim storage may have to be provided by the contractor. This lot deals with the supply of lighting components (spotlights and lighting control systems).Specifically, the following services can be defined by the client:- Coordination and supply of LED floodlights for the Stuttgart studio,- Coordination and supply of LED Fresnel spotlights for the Stuttgart studio,- Supply of the described lighting control systems and training for these.Only new equipment with a manufacturer's guarantee may be offered within the framework of this award procedure. The underlying time schedule for the provision of services is listed in Section 3.2 of the specifications (Lot 2). Delivery date in the period from / to November 2021 - January 2022.
