Description

Suppliers are invited by the Customer to submit an offer for ITO DES1231729 Queensland Parks Wildlife Services & Partnerships (QPWS&P) Vessel Reef Ranger Main Engine Replacement and General Refit as specified in Part B: Contract Details document.
The Customer is committed to advancing the economic, environmental and social objectives of the Queensland Government, including maximising Queensland suppliers’ opportunities to participate in government business, supporting regional and remote economies, and doing business with ethically, environmentally and socially responsible suppliers.
The customer is investing to lower carbon emissions from the vessel’s operations. This will include installation of emerging technologies with a view to increasing the vessel’s efficiency through the water, electrical design and equipment and engine technologies.
The scope of the potential Contract will include the following main requirements (see Part B – Contract Details – Schedule 1 Requirements and Schedule 1a Specifications for full details):

Removal and installation of two (2) main propulsion engines and transmissions (Customer supplied)
Removal, supply and installation of power generation equipment.
Installation of Hullvane system.
Supply and installation of HVAC equipment.
Remove, supply and install structural fire protection
Remove, supply and install external deck coverings

The following is out-of-scope for this ITO:

Design details relating to hull, machinery and electrical upgrades. These will be provided to the Supplier.
