The ‘Let’s EAT — European Authentic Taste’ is submitted by a consortium of two members, the Association of Imathia’s Agricultural Cooperatives from Greece and the Istituto Valorizzazione Salumi Italiani from Italy. The Action aims to improve the level of knowledge of the merits of the Union's agri-food products and increase their competitiveness and consumption, by promoting the products that are testimonials of the campaign, deli meats and fruits, within the chosen target countries: Italy, France and Belgium. This campaign of information and promotion will reassure consumers of the quality, nutritional aspects, sustainability and traceability in the agricultural, farming and processing phases of the products. The activities include press releases, advertorials, radio and TV campaign, press events, website, social media, trade fairs, restaurant weeks and food ambassadors.
The selection of an implementing body engaged for the implementation of the activities of the programme: Let’s EAT — European Authentic Taste on information provision and promotion measures on fresh fruits and deli meats in Italy, France and Belgium, submitted under the topic MULTI-A-2020, within the framework of the Regulation (EU) No 1144/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council. Should the proposed program not be accepted by the EU entities, the winner of this tender shall be considered void and ineffective and in such case the contracting authority shall have no responsibilities whatsoever and shall not be subject to any claims and/or damage requests.
