Providers are invited by the Principal to submit an offer for ITO No. GCHHS119941 for the provision of Outsourced Clinical Services as specified in Part B–Clinical Services Standing Offer Arrangement
GCHHS facilities are at capacity in most areas with patient numbers continuing to grow. With this increased demand on GCHHS facilities, the number of waitlisted patients requiring treatment continues to rise.
Outsourcing through both Department of Health Surgery Connect Arrangement and private hospital arrangements provides the opportunity to treat patients privately, where the internal capacity of GCHHS is unable to meet with the demand.

The scope of the potential Contract will cover the following requirements (see Part B–Clinical Services Standing Offer Arrangement Schedule 2 part 1 for full details)
• Planned care
• Emergency Department diversion
The objectives of this sourcing activity are to:
• undertake an open market procurement activity that will result in the establishment of a new SOA for a panel of Service Providers.
• reduce waitlists - ensuring patients are seen within the clinically recommended time;
• maintain patient safety and deliver reliable, equitable access to health care for the Gold Coast community; and
• minimise the cost to do so.
