The department of constructions and maintenance calls for tenders of project management service to coordinate and oversee all regular and incidental maintenance work for playgrounds in Reykjavik. The project manager has to ensure the safety and security standard which Reykjavik city provides.The main task are:• collecting deviations from the safety and security standard,• analysis of deviations,• project planning,• project execution,• project monitoring and control,• project closure.The project manager has to be in communication with different employees within the Reykjavik municipal and vendors on every stage of the project lifecycle.The department of constructions and maintenance uses a facility maintenance management system (FMMS) from main manager to oversee the maintenance of the playgrounds. The FMMS divides the playgrounds into different categories.The categories are:• open spaces,• kindergartens,• schools.The project manager will work in the FMMS and use it to create tasks from deviations, execute tasks, monitor tasks and control the tasks.Key figures• 21 schools,• 39 kindergartens,• 156 open spaces.
