Description
The purpose of the Société d'habitation et de développement de Montréal (SHDM) is to contribute to the economic and social development of the City of Montreal by developing real estate assets of a residential, institutional, industrial, commercial and cultural nature within its territory. The SHDM is a financially autonomous, non-profit, paramunicipal organization, mandated by the Ville de Montréal.
The SHDM is requesting tenders, which must be received at the SHDM office located at 800, boulevard De Maisonneuve Est, bureau 2200, Montréal, province of Québec, H2L 4L8, or, in the case of tenders transmitted electronically, on the servers of the Système électronique d'appels d'offres publics (SEAO) at www.seao.ca on the date and before the time indicated below.

DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this call for tenders is to select a real estate broker to provide professional services to accompany the sale of the building located at 164, rue Notre-Dame Est in Montreal.

GUARANTEES AND INSURANCES: No bid deposit is required for this call for tenders. The Bid must be accompanied by a certificate of general liability insurance or a letter of intent to insure in the minimum amount of $5,000,000 and a certificate of professional liability insurance in the mandatory minimum amount prescribed by the Bidder's professional order per year of insurance.

SITE VISIT: In accordance with SHDM's Contract Management Policy, there will be no guided site visit with all Tenderers grouped together. To visit the site, you must make an appointment by e-mail at the following address: approvisionnement@shdm.org .
A system for weighting and evaluating proposals will be used for this call for tenders, based not only on price, but also on the quality of the Bid presentation, understanding of the mandate and issues, the Bidder's expertise, and so on.
To be validly received, Bid documents must be placed in a sealed envelope which includes the proposal document, as well as a second sealed envelope containing the price proposal. Both envelopes must bear the project description and Bid number 2024-056-PP-GI. In the case of an electronically transmitted Bid, it must be encrypted, transmitted, time-stamped and saved on the SEAO servers before the deadline for receipt of bids is reached for this notice.
Tenders received (qualitative envelope) will be publicly opened at the SHDM office immediately after the expiry of the deadline set for their receipt.
Tender documents are available in French only. Bidders must have, at the time of submission of the Bid, a business establishment in Quebec or in a territory covered by an intergovernmental market liberalization agreement applicable to this call for tenders, and hold a valid certificate issued by Revenu Québec.
SHDM does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received and assumes no obligation whatsoever towards the bidders.
