TERMS OF REFERENCE Mobile Tablet Background The DOT has been working with DICT for the approval of ISSP 2017 – 2020. The ISSP provides a detailed information on the current ICT situation of the DOT, both on ICT infrastructure and equipment, to improve efficiency and workability of the operating units of the Department. Justification The current ICT equipment situation in DOT thru the inventory conducted by the General Services Division, with the support from IT Division, showed that most of the desktops, laptop, USP and other ICT peripherals are beyond its maximum normal and reliable life span with some equipment as old as 25 years which has render to be non-functional, beyond repair, obsolete and could not meet the demand of the workload and the current software technology. This may cause, among others, breakdown of equipment that can result in data loss and hamper the DOT unit’s operations. In addition, there has been insufficient productivity software such as but not limited to Microsoft Office, etc. which are needed for day to day operation. Objective To provide efficient and reliable delivery of service to the different tourism stakeholders and the general public, DOT will acquire functional and working ICT infrastructure and equipment, to aid the different operating units in the performance of its functions. Scope of the Services I. IT supplier Requirements: 1. The IT supplier should be platinum member of PhilGEPS. 2. The IT supplier should be an existing and trusted supplier of IT equipment and supplies for at least 5 years. 3. The IT supplier has never been blacklisted even once by an agency. 4. The IT supplier must have a NTC Dealer’s Permit. 5. The IT supplier must have an authorized reseller certificate. II. The IT supplier shall provide the following: 1. Shall deliver twenty - three (23) units mobile tablet with appropriate cables and adapter. Generic brand not allowed. 2. Delivery service shall be free of charge. III.
