EK-UNICO GmbH ("EK-UNICO") is a purchasing association of 12 German university hospitals. It bundles a purchasing volume of EUR 1.4 billion. With its specialised competence centres, EK-UNICO ensures that the high quality requirements of the university hospitals are met at all times. EK-UNICO intends to conclude a cooperation agreement to strengthen university medicine and purchase medical consumables. As a cooperation partner, EK-UNICO is looking for a purchasing group that specialises in the healthcare sector and in particular in the needs of university medicine, which already covers the portfolio for the usual procurement needs of a university hospital (medical products and general business supplies) with the suppliers it lists. EK-UNICO is open to strategic cooperation with the joint purchase of medical consumer goods (purchasing cooperation).
