This PIN may be relied upon to reduce the tender response periods for those services, which may be determined, by the contracting authority at tender stage to exceed the EU thresholds for advertisement in the OJEU (via TED). It is likely that some of these contracts may be at OJEU level.

A response to this notice is not required.

The TII National Roads Project Office of Sligo County Council have recently commenced the Options Selection Stage (Phase 2 of the TII Project Management Guidelines), with regard to the N17 Knock to Collooney [Atlantic Economic Corridor] Road Upgrade.

In order to complete this stage of the planning and design process, a range of consultancy/specialist services are expected to be required over the course of the next 12 months.

It is anticipated that the range of services may include those relating to:
Engineering & Economics: Traffic & Transport Assessment (including Transport Economics); Traffic Surveys; Digital Terrain Modelling; Geotechnical; Drainage; Structures; Land Valuation. Planning & Environment: Population & Human Health; Landscape & Visual; Biodiversity; Agricultural and Non-Agricultural Property (Material Assets); Noise & Vibration; Air Quality & Climate Change; Hydrology & Hydrogeology (Water); Soils & Geology; Archaeology & Cultural Heritage; Architectural Heritage.
