Framework agreement on the print production and delivery of the brochures "Basic Law" for the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb).
A framework agreement is concluded with the contractor for the printing production and delivery of the bpb's "Basic Law" brochures. So far, these are 5 different text editions of the Basic Law. In addition to the so-called "standard edition", "foreign-language editions" (previously available in Arabic, Turkish and Russian) and the "small text edition" are to be published. The scope of services includes data transfer/checking, printing plate production, printing, bookbinding processing and delivery of the brochures "Basic Law". In some cases, the Contractor can be expected to take over the production of artwork or adaptation of existing artwork (making typesetting corrections according to specifications) and the production of the PDF/X-3 file ready for printing The framework agreement is concluded for the period from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2021. There is an optional possibility to extend the framework agreement by one year at a time, up to a maximum of 31.12.2024. An estimated total requirement of 3 360 000 copies applies for the maximum contract period. There is no obligation on the part of the client to make use of the extension option or to commission the estimated total requirement quantity.
