Audit of annual financial statements and management reports as well as special audits for BEN Berlin Energie und Netzholding GmbH and Stromnetz Berlin GmbH.
BEN GmbH is a company wholly owned by the State of Berlin. It in turn holds 100 percent of the shares in Stromnetz Berlin GmbH. Within the scope of its shareholding management, BEN GmbH assumes the strategic management of Stromnetz Berlin GmbH in order to implement existing and future requirements and objectives - in particular with a view to climate protection and the implementation of the energy turnaround.Stromnetz Berlin GmbH is the operator of Berlin's electricity distribution network and for this purpose maintains various structures in the Berlin urban area with a focus on industrial construction, e.g. substations, network nodes and operations management buildings. The subject of the invitation to tender is the conclusion of auditing services for BEN Berlin Energie und Netzholding GmbH and Stromnetz Berlin GmbH. The contract will be concluded as a framework agreement on the audit of the annual financial statements for the years 2022 to 2025 between BEN Berlin Energie und Netzholding GmbH and the future contractor. The framework agreement initially covers the audit year 2022. An option to extend the term of the agreement by a further audit year each time is agreed three times (maximum term of the agreement four years).The services are specified in each case by the call-off agreements. The audits shall comprise the services listed in the framework agreement as well as additional audit focal points and additional optional audit services specified separately for each call-off, which may differ for each company to be audited.The auditor shall also determine whether the business of the respective company has been conducted properly in the respective reporting period in compliance with the legal and administrative provisions applicable to the audited entity in accordance with the instructions of the supervisory authority and with due care and efficiency. The specific scope of services is governed by § 2 of the draft framework agreement.The estimated value of the services to be awarded is 215,000 euros net per year and 860,000 euros net for the entire potential term of the contract including the extension periods, i.e. a total of four years. The maximum value of the services to be awarded is 350,000 euros net per year and 1,400,000 euros net for the entire potential contract term including the renewal periods, i.e. a total of four years.
