Niger - Power line construction work

Description

The works are planned in Niamey and Dosso and mainly concern:- the construction of HV & LV lines, HV/LV substations and reflection;- the rehabilitation of substations, restructuring of HV departures.
It concerns the construction of 260 km of LV lines in pre-assembled cable 3×70 mm2 + N + EP and 3.9 km of LV lines in pre-assembled cable 3×50 mm2 + N + EP. The works relate to:- construction of safety lines;- construction of three (3) reflection substations (Plateau 1, Plateau 2 and Madina);- construction of five (5) reflection substations (Aviation, AR1, AR2, ORTN and Stade);- bringing down of feeders to the three (3) reflection substations;- bringing down of feeders to the five (5) reflection substations. Construction and rehabilitation of 207 MV/LV substations. In Niamey, the work involves the rehabilitation of 88 cabin substations.In Dosso, the works relate to- the creation of one (01) new HTA 20 kV overhead feeder in bare 75.5 mm2 Almelec cable with a total length of 5.5 km;- the reinforcement of an existing feeder by the replacement of 5 km of 54.6 mm2 Almelec cable by 75.5 mm2;- the creation and equipment of ten (10) new HTA/LV masonry cabins;- the construction of 12.745 km of LV lines in pre-assembled cable 3×70 mm2+N+EP;- the construction of 21.705 km of LV lines in pre-assembled cable 3×50 mm2+N+EP;- the construction of 1.215 km of LV lines in pre-assembled cable 3×35 mm2+N+EP. It involves the creation of eleven (11) new MV feeders with a total length of 72.94 km and one (01) new MV feeder at Niamey 3 with a length of 5.291 km, all in twisted aluminium cable 3×1×240 mm2. It concerns:- the undergrounding of the city feeder;- the rehabilitation of the BCEAO, Grand-standing, Koura-Kano, Gaweye and Grand-Marché feeders;- the restructuring of the Hamdalaye, industrial zone and Goudel feeders;- the replacement of the Niamey 3 20-kV switchboard;- the replacement of the 20-kV switchboard in Goudel
