Description
The LZN is responsible for the procurement of goods and services for the direct Lower Saxony state administration (cf. § 2 of the LZN's operating instructions). With the approval of its supervisory authority, the LZN can take on further tasks for public-law entities within and outside the Lower Saxony state administration as well as for private-law companies under full public ownership (cf. § 3 of the operating instructions).In this responsibility, the order includes the conclusion of a framework agreement with a company (§ 21 VgV) on the fitting out of vehicles with police specifics.Further details on the type and scope of the contract can be found in the respective specifications - Technical Part (Part B) for Lots 1 to 3.The removal of at least 5 vehicles for Lot 1, 4 vehicles for Lot 2 and 1 vehicle for Lot 3 within the initial contract period of 12 months is guaranteed.In the subsequent years of any contract extension, the same quantities (5 vehicles for Lot 1, 4 vehicles for Lot 2 and 1 vehicle for Lot 3) are expected to be ordered each year. In addition, the extension of a total of 20 further vehicles for Lot 1, 14 further vehicles for Lot 2 and 6 further vehicles for Lot 3 within the maximum possible contract term of 48 months (12 months incl. 3 extension options of 12 months each (cf. Section 2.21)) is possible, but cannot be guaranteed.
