The AG intends to construct a new office building for the Federal Ministry of Finance on the property "Postblockareal Nord" on Wilhelmstraße/Leipziger Straße in the Berlin district of Mitte to accommodate the management of the Ministry, various departments of the administration, the Federal Finance Academy BFA, a conference centre and a large canteen. The general planning services for the project will be awarded to another contractor following an RPW realisation competition announced throughout Europe (EU Contract Notice 2021/S 066-172085 of 06.04.2021). The subject of the present award procedure is - following on from the previous planning results - the award of AHO specialist planning services (basic and special services) for construction logistics in accordance with Booklet No. 25 of the AHO Specialist Commission "Services for Construction Logistics".The Contractor in question is to provide supplementary specialist planning services for construction logistics and, in doing so, coordinate continuously with the general planner and the other specialist planners involved. Of particular importance is the maintenance of cost, schedule and interface security. In addition, in the course of its services, the Contractor is to take into account the AG's also intended over-planning and development of the "Postblock Area South" directly adjacent to the building plot which is the subject matter of this contract. The award strategy for the implementation of the measure is still open at the time of the conclusion of the contract. Subject to a final profitability study, the AG is aiming for further planning, realisation and later operation of the project within the framework of a public-private partnership (PPP model) after a corresponding invitation to tender and commissioning. Alternatively, a general contractor award, if necessary divided into up to 6 packages/partial or specialist lots, or an award of individual trades may be considered, also after the AG has issued a corresponding invitation to tender and commissioned the work.
