Notice of Intent to Direct AwardIssued: November 19, 2024File # PHSA 15296NOI Title: Cardiac Recording SystemProvincial Health Services AuthorityNotice is hereby given that Fraser Health Authority (the “Health Authority”), through their agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide two (2) Cardiac Recording System (Xper)for Surrey Memorial Hospital for an estimated value of $ 474,490.34.Philips Electronics Ltd., doing business as ‘PhilipsCanada’ 1875 Buckhorn Gate Mississauga, Ontario L4W 5P1In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason: the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason: to ensure compatibility with existing products/systems               SMH expansion project includes 2 net new Cath labs which require a new Hemodynamic at a second FHA site which will be connecting to the existing Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) XPER information Management (XIM). Hence the purchase of this system facilitates more efficient data access, sharing, and reporting across different departments, leading to improved workflow efficiency and clinical decision-making.
