Notice of Intent to Direct AwardIssued: April 12, 2024File # PHSA 11919NOI Title: DrFirst Medication History IntegrationProvincial Health Services AuthorityNotice is hereby given that Interior Health Authority and Fraser Health Authority (the “Health Authorities”), through their collective agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Medication History Integration for Health Authorities with an estimated value of $970,016 for one (1) year with the possibility of option years.DrFirst Healthcare Innovations Inc. Suite 2250, 1055 West Hastings Street,Vancouver, BC, V6E 2E9 In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason: 
the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason: to ensure compatibility with existing products/systems Rationale The DrFirst Software System is a customer software solution that was custom developed by DrFirst Healthcare Innovations Inc. specifically for the Health Authorities. The supplier presently maintains the software, its database and operating systems. The supplier holds the source code which is proprietary to the current provider. No other vendor could maintain the existing system. Importantly, DrFirst has consistently met and continues to meet all conformance requirements set forth by the Ministry of Health for connecting to PharmaNet. This adherence to regulatory standards underscores the commitment of the solution to maintaining compliance and ensuring the integrity of healthcare data.
