Canada - Paving correction work on part of Dutrisac Street

The City of Vaudreuil-Dorion will receive bids until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2019, for the project "  Paving correction work on part of Dutrisac Street  ".

Persons interested in this contract may obtain, as of July 29, 2019, the bid documents by contacting the Electronic Tendering Service (ESTS) by contacting one of the representatives by telephone at 1 866 669-7326 or 514 856-6600, or by visiting the website www.seao.ca. Documents can be obtained at a cost determined by the SEAO.

BID AND CONTRACT SECURITY

The general contractor must include in its bid:


A certified cheque, drawn on a Canadian chartered bank, a savings bank, a caisse populaire doing business in Quebec and payable to the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion or a bid bond issued by an insurance company in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The bid security must be valid for ninety (90) days   ;



A letter of intent issued by an insurance company confirming that if the contract is granted and accepted, it will issue in favour of the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion, a performance bond and a bond for pledges, materials and services, each for fifty percent (50%) of the contract of enterprise and/or the issuance of bonds in accordance with the examples attached to the tender document. The guarantor shall waive the benefit of the discussion.


CONDITIONS

Only persons, firms, companies and corporations that hold a licence under the Construction Contractors' Professional Qualification Act and that have obtained the bidding documents directly from the SEAO are eligible to bid.

The contractor must complete and sign the bidder's declaration contained in the tender documents, failing which its bid will be rejected. Bids will be submitted in triplicate (3) in a sealed envelope marked:"   Paving correction work on part of Dutrisac Street - Call for Bids No. 401-110-19-R1770.02  ", to the Clerk's Office at City Hall, 2555 Dutrisac Street, Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec J7V 7E6, before 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2019, and will be publicly opened the same day, immediately after 11 a.

This call for tenders is subject to the Agreement on Trade and Cooperation between Quebec and Ontario (ACCQO), the Agreement on the Liberalization of Government Procurement of Quebec and New Brunswick (AQNB) and the Agreement on Trade and Cooperation between Quebec and Ontario (ALEC).
