Description
The main duties and functions are:
- maritime law enforcement within Hong Kong waters
- command and control
- operational incident responses
- maritime security
- counter terrorism
- search and rescue
- disaster relief
- policing support to outlying islands and remote areas
The vessels should:
- be steel mono-hull with an aluminium superstructure
- powered by a diesel hybrid propulsion system
- include a daughter boat per vessel
- not contain any asbestos or asbestos containing materials
You must provide 5 copies of the design and construction specifications of the vessel including drawings.
