Description

Organisations with international experience are invited to participate in the bidding process for the upgrade or laying of new railway track. New railway lines or upgrades of exisiting line are needed on the following sections:

a) track laying: Gwadar-Talar Paas-Turbat - Hoshab - Panjgur - Besima-Surab-Mastung (901km) and Jacobabad - Besima (300km)
b) track laying: Bostan - Zhob - D.I Khan - Kotla Jam (560km)
c) track laying: Havelian - Khunjrab (682km)
d) upgrade of existing main line - II from Kotri to Attock City (1,254km)
e) rehabilitation / upgrade of track: Quetta - Tattan (68Km)
f) track laying: Murree to Muzaffarabad (107Km)
g) track upgrade: Wazirabad - Sialkot - Norowal-Shahdara (234km)
h) construction of double line from Khanewal to Faisalabad and Sangla Hill to Wazirabad (280km) and existing line (105km)
i) construction of double line from Shahdara to Faisalabad via Sangla Hill and upgrade of existing line (135km)
j) track upgrade: Rohri to Quetta via Sibi, including realignment of Bolan Pass (384km)
k) rehabilitation / upgrade of Nowshera - Dargal (65 Km) and laying of new line from Dargai to Mansehra
