Description

Invitation for pre-qualification of bidders for procurement of plant design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 765kV Double Circuit Dasu-Mansehra-Islamabad Transmission line project financed by World Bank under IDA Credit No.5497-PK and 5498-PK).

Below are key requirements:

i) Experience under plant design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning contracts of EHV (380kV or higher voltage) transmission line as prime contractor, subcontractor, JV member or management contractor, in at least two contracts within the last twelve years prior to the application submission deadline, with value of at least US$100million each and with accumulative length of the constructed line no less than 150km that have been satisfactorily and substantially completed.

ii) The Applicant (in case of single entity) shall demonstrate that it has access to or has available, liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit and other financial means (independent of any contractual advance payment) sufficient to meet the construction cash flow requirements estimated at US$ Thirty Two Millions for the subject contract net of the Applicants other commitments.
