Description

The Bl regulating valve is unique to the Bl aircraft. The regulating valve provides pressure regulation of the air supply to the wing fairing inflatable seals. Heat is transferred from a hot ethylene glycol water (EGW) circuit to cold ram air to maintain the desired EGW outlet temperature. The load heat exchanger is a four pass liquid to air through the cold air inlet and flows through the multilayer core, exiting through the cold air outlet. EGW liquid enters the multilayer core, perpendicular to the cold circuit in a circuit along the cold inlet core face. The EGW fluid then enters an external header and flows to the cold outlet end of the load heat exchanger. The EGW fluid makes four passes through the core before exiting through the EGW outlet. Please see attached for more information.
