Construction and operation of a TUMO centre in Berlin (Wilmersdorfer Str. 50, 10627 Berlin) - Lot 1 Operation:TUMO is an innovative educational model from Armenia, which offers pupils aged 12 to 18 years a wide range of learning opportunities in a total of 14 subject areas from the field of digitisation and creative technology free of charge and independent of their social background. In different learning phases, young people have the opportunity to gain experience in the 14 different digital learning fields (e.g. animation, web development, programming and robotics) and thus acquire their own skills and knowledge in them, as well as develop their own level of knowledge. They are supported by coaches with the appropriate specialist expertise. TUMO centres are state-of-the-art centres which offer pupils the voluntary opportunity to further their education in the above-mentioned areas after school. Using modern software, an individual learning plan is created for each student in order to best adapt the learning content to the interests of the students. The operator owes the establishment and successful operation of the TUMO Centre in Berlin to the operator. This includes all necessary activities in the run-up to the planned opening of the TUMO Centre - currently scheduled for 1.10.2020 - as well as all services for ongoing operation.In detail, the operator owes:- Implementation, management and coordination of the project for the establishment of the TUMO Centre,- Ongoing operation of the TUMO Centre in accordance with the operational concept, including the implementation of the teaching operation,- Selection, employment, training, instruction and supervision of teaching staff and personnel required for services outside the teaching operation,- Provision of supporting services in the TUMO Centre, such as administration of the stock of young people, Processing of enquiries and complaints, provision of material required for teaching operations, collection of feedback from teaching staff and young people, reporting, overall coordination of the centre's operations, including coordination and monitoring of suppliers and service providers, and inclusion of KfW's provisions, application for and procurement of all official permissions/approvals required for the opening and operation of the TUMO Centre; Ensuring compliance with the legal requirements applicable to the operation of the Centre,- Marketing/PR for the TUMO Centre in accordance with the marketing concept, u. a. Establishment of networks to increase awareness of the TUMO Centre and to promote exchange with similar educational institutions,- ongoing coordination with KfW and TUMO,- participation in governance, in particular organisation of the monthly steering committee,- communication with TUMO (in English) both on its own behalf and on behalf of KfW in areas in which KfW wishes direct coordination between the operator and TUMO,- Design of content and active maintenance of the website and the social media accounts for ongoing reporting on offers of the TUMO Centre and the latest developments as well as for marketing purposes, including assumption of legal responsibility for these platforms,- Preparation and maintenance of emergency plans as well as implementation of emergency exercises,- Initial procurement as well as ongoing provision, maintenance and replacement as required of the necessary furniture and other equipment in the TUMO Centre are not the subject of Lot 1 Operation,- IT services: Provision of the necessary IT infrastructure, including maintenance and care (these services will be awarded at the beginning of the year in a lot 2), - cleaning services, - security services, - rental of the location (Wilmersdorfer Str. 50, 10627 Berlin) (details, see tender documents).
