United States - Oneida Vilas Transit Commission Space Needs Assessment

Oneida Vilas Transit Commission (OVTC) is a small, two-county public transit system in northern Wisconsin. Administration and vehicle maintenance are currently housed in a leased building at 3611 Highway 47 Rhinelander. OVTC operates two route buses that run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday through cities in Oneida County and Vilas County. OVTC operates a twice a month route between Phelps and Eagle River. OVTC operates in Rhinelander, Minocqua and Eagle River, Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. OVTC also has a contract with Headwaters, Inc operating three routes twice per day from Three Lakes, Minocqua and 
Rhinelander, Monday through Thursday. OVTC has indoor storage for some, but not all buses in Rhinelander and no indoor storage facility for buses kept in Eagle River or Minocqua. OVTC doesn’t own any buildings and all construction will be new construction.
OVTC is requesting proposals from professional firms to perform a space needs analysis for administration offices, vehicle maintenance facility, and vehicle storage facility. The space needs analysis will be used to help determine and focus on future procurements and projects obtained with Federal and local funding.
